EAST AURORA FIRE CONTROL CHIEFS' ASSOCIATION

The East Fire Control Chief’s Association was formed by the ten (10) fire companies/departments dispatched by East Aurora Fire Control. The ten (10) companies/departments are as follows; Blossom Fire Company, East Aurora Fire Department, Elma Fire Company, Holland Fire Department, Jamison Road Fire Company, Marilla Fire Company, Spring Brook Fire District #1, South Wales Fire District, Wales Center Fire Company and West Falls Fire District. The purpose of this association was to get all the Chief officer’s together in one place to discuss training, schools, recent calls and to pre-plan large incidents (before they happen).

The East Aurora Fire Control also helps in the dispatch of Rural/Metro Ambulance, Mercy Flight, South Towns Hazardous Material Team, Erie County Hazardous Material Team, Erie County Sheriffs Department, New York State Police and numerous other organizations. In addition to the above mentioned duties, the fire control also dispatches the East Aurora Police Department.

Membership in the association is open to all current and past Fire Chief’s, and all current and past Assistant Fire Chief’s serviced by our Fire Control. Liaisons from the following entities also attend our meetings; Rural/Metro Ambulance, South Town’s Haz Mat, Erie County Fire Advisory Board, Erie County Department of Emergency Services, Mercy Flight and Wyoming County Department of Emergency Services.
